Contributions by:
Markus Acher, Enji, Paul Brändle, Martin Brugger, Matthias Lindermayr, Caspar Plautz

Open on:
30/31 October, 14:00 to 21:00

Address:
Ruffinihaus München
Rindermarkt
80331 Munich

Supported by Kreativ München

Thursday boasts a special joint concert by Enji, Damian Dalla Torre, Markus Acher and members for Fazer, as well as a culinary stunt by our friends from Caspar Plautz. Come and hang!

For the occasion we produced a limited run of 'cover version' t-shirts which will be available on location only. Vintage and dead stock shirts sourced from Munich brands, screen-printed with the B-Sides visual to create one-off cover versions of their originals. More special merchandise items and records from the Squama vault will be available as well from 14h-21h every day.

  • Markus Acher

German musician and co-founder of Alien Transistor.
Member of multiple musical projects including The Notwist and Hochzeitskapelle.

  • Enji

Born and raised in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, Enji lived in a tiny yurt with a working-class family. “My parents worked every day, the whole day, for the city,” Enji says. “They love to sing, but they don’t have any passion for music. I was a bit different.” Ever supportive, her parents encouraged her to do whatever felt right for her, even if it meant eventually leaving Mongolia. “It was a great support from them.”

  • Paul Brändle

Paul Brändle, born in Kempten in 1992, studied jazz guitar with Peter O'Mara at the Musikhochschule München and enjoyed private lessons with greats such as Peter Bernstein, Jonathan Kreisberg and Gilad Hekselmann.

  • Martin Brugger

Producer and co-founder of Squama Recordings.
    Member of Fazer.

  • Matthias Lindermayr

Matthias Lindermayr, coming from a family of musicians (his father is a pianist and his mother teaches early music education), received classical piano lessons as a child; he learned to play the trumpet when he was twelve. He also played electric guitar in rock bands as a teenager. He studied jazz trumpet with Claus Reichstaller at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich, then began composition studies with Gregor Hübner. Tiger Okoshi proved to be an important mentor, with whom he studied at Berklee College of Music in 2014/2015. He continued his studies in 2016 at the Jazz Institute Berlin with John Hollenbeck and Gerard Presencer.

  • Caspar Plautz

Dominik and Theo, have been running a small snack bar in the heart of Munich on the Viktualienmarkt since November 2017, where they try to present potatoes in a regional, seasonal, modern but also classic and, above all, delicious way and make them palatable to their customers. With the help of fantastic chef Kay and a fantastic team, they try to be as sustainable as possible in the urban centre of Munich, to remain creative and, above all, to always focus on the fun at work.
